Social Mission

Program of Integral Health
The program of Integral Health seeks to provide to people of scarce resources, services of health from a modern focus, not based on the old concept of health like illness absence but in a vision of health from bio-psico-social integral perspective. It has an interdisciplinary team compose of social workers highlight, doctors, dental assistants and odontologist, many of wich contribute with their work in voluntary form.

The work is developed at level of external consultaltion in the Departament of Social Action in the facilities of Clínica Bíblica. It is also carried out at intervention level in areas of high-priority attention (marginal communities), mainly in the dentistry area with emphasis in the infantile population' attention. In answer to the necessities of the rural areas, projects pilots of integral attention have been elaborated directed to foment the autodevelopment of the community.

Please stop by the Insurance Office at Hospital Clínica Bíblica in order to register for free and pick up your ID Card. Medical benefits for US Military Retirees and their families.

The following documents are requiered:

• A current US military retired ID (20 years active duty)
• 65 years or over. Must have MEDICARE part B.
• Current ID Cards for all dependents under 21 years of age up to age up to 23 years of age if in college with proof of enrollment.
• Copy of DD 214.
• Unremarried widows must have the above related documents for their husband.
